(Northampton, UK – 19 January 2017) - St Andrew’s Healthcare has been named one of Britain’s most inclusive employers in the 2017 Stonewall Equality Index.
St Andrew’s achieved 43rd position in the exclusive index of Top 100 employers, based on an annual audit of workplace culture from the perspectives of lesbian, gay, bi and trans staff. The position represents an upward movement of 15 places from 58th position in 2016.
The list is compiled from submissions to the Workplace Equality Index, a powerful benchmarking tool that compares more than 400 UK employers. Now in its 13th year, the Index celebrates the pioneering efforts of leading organisations to create inclusive workplaces. St Andrew’s has now appeared on the list in three consecutive years.
