Here's a little more information about us and what roles we have on offer...
St Andrew’s Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental healthcare for patients with some of the most complex, challenging mental health needs in the UK.
Working in mental health with us offers something different to other jobs. You're there to help people on their journey - this means that you will be presented with a variety of new challenges every day, and you get the reward of seeing the change and improvement in our patients.
Our Dementia and Huntington’s Disease (HD) service consists of seven locked wards for male and female patients from across the UK.
Therapies and interventions are delivered through a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team consisting of medical, psychology, occupational therapy, social work, physiotherapy, nutrition and dietetics, physical health and speech and language provision. Adopting an integrated approach to service delivery, we ensure that the care we provide is personalised addressing both mental and physical health conditions.
> Healthcare Assistants (HCA)
You be part of the multi-disciplinary team of Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Social Workers and Responsible Clinicians that work on the ward who are able to provide expertise in all aspects of the service users' requirements.
You do not have to have been a Healthcare Assistant before, as long as you are caring, committed, and compassionate about people and would like to improve quality of life for the people in our care. You will also be trained within all aspects of the role and have a mentor to support you.
The job can be highly rewarding, though challenging at times, but through training and experience, you will learn all the skills you need to support people in a least restrictive way and help them to thrive and move forward.

> Qualified Nurses RMN / RGN
We have a number of exciting opportunities for both experienced and recently qualified Mental Health, Learning Disability and General Nurses to join our team.
You will play a vital role as a valued member of our well established multi-disciplinary team, and be responsible and accountable for the delivery of high quality, patient-focused care within our IPU. We’re looking for motivated individuals who have an ability to work under pressure and rise to any challenge.
Being a Senior Staff Nurse you will be the lead on a shift so knowledge and understanding is a must. If this is your first role, we will support you. Our leading preceptorship programme is there to help you build on your understanding in the first six months of being a New Staff Nurse here at St Andrew’s Healthcare.
