Northampton-based tool manufacturer Stanley Black & Decker has built on its relationship with St Andrew's by donating a total of £2000 to us this week.
Workbridge received a very generous £1000, following on from a donation of tools earlier this year. A further £1000 was donated to the Friday afternoon football club for staff and patients. Both donations are the result of Stanley Black & Decker volunteering with us at Workbridge, and playing a football match with patients in recent weeks.
Dean James of Stanley Black & Decker said: "Our company purpose is ‘FOR THOSE WHO MAKE THE WORLD’. Our social responsibility mission is to be a force for good, helping to nurture the skills that society needs, especially those related to vocational skills. Partners like Workbridge let us leverage our strengths and expertise, to empower makers in all parts of society."
Both donations will be put to good use to the benefit of our service users.
