Location: Northampton

Salary: from £26,082 per annum (depending on experience) + Night Enhancements

Hours: 37.5 hours contract

The Role

Our priorities are to maintain a safe environment for staff, patients and visitors in line with St Andrew’s Healthcare polices. As a key member of the St. Andrew’s security team your key responsibilities will be maintaining security systems and records.  Duties will include key management, processing staff and visitors, managing and responding to all emergency incidents including fire and intruder alarms.

You will lead and work as part of a diverse team which operates as a central team across the Northampton site. You will manage the Security officers by working best practise.

About you 

We are looking for someone with:

  • Working knowledge or experience in working in the healthcare sector or similar
  • Working knowledge or experience in working in the security field
  • To have a good working knowledge of working security systems.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills
  • Demonstrate clear verbal and written skills
  • Be flexible, reliable and able to work a 12 hour shift pattern on nights
  • You will have a strong customer focus
  • Be able to show initiative, whilst adhering to the policies and procedures that ensure a safe environment and compliance with secure standards
  • ESSENTIAL - You must hold a Full UK Driving Licence
