The role

As Registered Manager for our community based services in the East Midlands, you will work closely with our Learning Disability and Autism division triumvirate – Clinical Director, Service Director and Associate Director of Nursing.

As Registered Manager you will be legally responsible and accountable for compliance with the current requirements and associated regulations of the Health and Social Care Act and the Care Quality Commission Regulations.

Winslow

St Andrew's Winslow is a non-hospital, residential building in Bestwood village in Nottinghamshire, which comprises of six apartments. Each apartment is occupied by a single resident who benefits from independent living skills and community engagement, whilst still receiving the support they need 

Broom

Broom Cottage is located in the village of Stonebroom in Derbyshire and provides personal care and support for up to five adults with a learning disability or autistic spectrum disorder. Some people may have associated conditions that included sensory disability, epilepsy and behaviour that can put themselves or others at risk. There are 5 residents who live at Broom and requires support with all aspects are their daily living.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coaching your teams to deliver a high quality service
  • Promoting a positive, engaging and service-user -centric culture
  • Ensuring an effective, consistent and efficient delivery of service user care across every location
  • Supporting the implementation of TEACCH, SPELL, BUILD and the ASD accreditations
  • Effectively managing referrals, admissions and moving on and discharge plans
  • Resource and workforce planning
  • Effectively managing resources and costs within budget to ensure you meet your financial targets and other key performance indicators. 
     

A bit more about you
We’re looking for an experienced leader with significant experience in inspiring, empowering and developing clinical and non-clinical teams. You will relish the opportunity this role brings to develop as a senior leader. You will have both the breadth and depth of knowledge and skills to fulfil the role described above and high levels of resilience to lead and embed change. You will have experience of working within Learning Disability and have the personal drive to further develop our services in this area.
