Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) - St Andrew's
St Andrew’s Healthcare provides low and medium secure Tier 4 CAMHS inpatient services, with the objective of enabling young people to live well and to their full potential in the least restrictive environment possible.
A medium secure forensic service for boys aged 13 - 18 with learning disabilities.
Our service ethos is based on a Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) framework, using boundaries, positive role modelling and solution focused therapies to enhance the young people's quality of life, taking account of their developmental stage.

Boys aged 13 - 18 on admission who:
Delivered by a full time, on-site multidisciplinary team (MDT), young people will benefit from a range of therapy programmes and interventions, specially adapted for the needs of vulnerable young boys:
Discharge is considered at admission and our clinical and social work teams work with appropriate case managers to support a single transition back into the community.
