St Andrew’s Healthcare is led by its Executive team, overseen by the Board and, in turn, the Court of Governors.
Our Executive team is responsible for delivering St Andrew’s Healthcare's strategy and for all of the charity’s operations.
Trevor joined St Andrew’s Healthcare as Interim Chief Executive Officer in April 2026. With a career in healthcare and specialist education leadership, Trevor previously served as CEO of Priory Group before going on to help establish Aspris, that was spun out of Priory.
Dr Sanjith Kamath has been a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2007, working in both the NHS and the private sector before joining St Andrew's Healthcare in 2012. He been involved in medical leadership from early in his career, undertaking an MBA and becoming a Founding Fellow of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management. Sanjith was appointed as the Executive Medical Director of St Andrew’s Healthcare in 2018 and is also the charity’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
Kevin joined St Andrew’s Healthcare in May 2020 and has worked in the financial sector for 25 years. He has held various senior finance positions and prior to joining St Andrew’s Healthcare he was Finance Director at Maximus Ltd, an organisation helping people access health, employment and disability services.
Stacey has more than 20 years’ experience in Recruitment and Human Resources roles, with experience in the healthcare, financial services, retail and central government sectors.
Stacey joined St Andrew’s Healthcare in 2014 and has held various roles including HR Business Partner and Head of Reward. Stacey was promoted to HR Director in January 2024.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Anna joined St Andrew’s Healthcare in 2019 having previously worked for PwC, Audi and the wider Volkswagen Group leading a variety of projects spanning business improvement, people development and innovation. At St Andrew’s Healthcare Anna has held roles including Deputy Director of Operations and Director of Performance and today is accountable for the development and deployment of the charity’s strategy.
Elspeth Devanney joined St Andrew’s Healthcare in July 2026 as Interim Chief Nurse. A Registered Mental Health Nurse, Elspeth has dedicated most of her career to mental health services. She is a member of St Andrew’s Executive team on secondment from Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust in the North East of England. Elspeth has held several senior clinical and operational roles across NHS mental health services, including Director of Nursing and Quality, Director of a Mental Health Care Group, Acting Director of Operations, and Head of Service.
Amanda joined St Andrew’s Executive Team in May 2026 as Managing Director for Birmingham and Essex Hospitals, Adult Care Services and Outpatients. Before this, Amanda was Interim Director of Improvement at the charity’s Birmingham Hospital. Before this role, she spent many years leading and transforming mental healthcare organisations and services.
