They can cause great personal distress and affect our quality of life, both at home and at work. St Andrew’s Help Employee Assistance Service provides professional support and guidance, offering the best possible guidance on maintaining good health and general wellbeing. Support is available for employees who are experiencing issues either at home or at work. You can get expert guidance from trained practitioners, legal experts and counsellors who offer confidential information and advice. The service is available 24/7, and you can access it in a range of ways - by telephone, online or face-to-face appointments with counsellors.

The St Andrews’s Help Employee Assistance Service offers support and information on:

  • alcohol and drug misuse
  • bullying and harassment
  • childcare
  • debt
  • legal and consumer issues*
  • relationships
  • retirement
  • sickness absence
  • stress
  • trauma
  • older people's care.

Wellbeing Zone

We also offer a range of general health and advice services, including personally tailored support programmes, through our Wellbeing Zone. These services include:

  • personal training programmes
  • weight management plans
  • healthy eating and nutritional advice
  • stress management solutions
  • 10-minute wellness tips
  • a general advice centre
  • a social message board
  • an ‘ask the expert’ service.

Family members can join the Wellbeing Zone too. There is a Wellbeing Zone app you can download to your mobile phone.

 

Trauma response service

St Andrew's provides a dedicated trauma service to support any employees who experience a traumatic event at work.
